SZOŠ | Generation Olymp project - demonstration lessons at schools

During the month of February 2026, the Generation Olympus project of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Slovak Republic, managed by the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee, was implemented within the framework of the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee. The project was aimed at conducting demonstration classes of orienteering in primary and secondary schools. Within the framework of the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee, the project was implemented by the HSP orienteering clubs of Láb, TJ Slávia Ekonóm UMB Banská Bystrica and the OB Kysak club, and the demonstration classes took place at 7 primary and secondary schools - ZŠ Vysoká na Morave, ZŠ Chorvátsky Grob, Ivana Horvátha Gymnasium in Bratislava, Spojená škola in Kysak, Spojená škola Čordákova in Košice, ZŠ Narnia in Banská Bystrica and ZŠ Spojová in Banská Bystrica. In total, more than 530 pupils participated in the demonstration classes.
